Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Danny grew up constantly involved in sports. A Successful football player and wrestler, Danny strived to be the best at whatever he did. After an unfortunate injury he turned to cycling as a form of therapy to rehab his injuries and a cyclist was born.
Danny attended UNLV in pursuit of a degree in sports medicine before he decided to make cycling the main focus in his life. Danny opened up Nu-Vision Cyclery with a friend in 2004 focusing on a boutique bike-shop experience where riders and friends could come and not only purchase bikes and parts but also be a part of a community. While running the shop out of Las Vegas Danny was constantly riding and racing honing his skills as a mountain biker, uni-cyclist and criterium/road racer.
Over the years he has been a part of local and semi-pro teams competing in largely in California, as well as some the largest cycling events around the country. It was his experience as a racer that really brought him into the arena of coaching and helping others to excel. His coaching has spanned from running what were known as the toughest spin classes in Las Vegas, to proper bike fitting as well as one-on-one training on and off the bike.
Danny is also know as a bit of a joker and can be the life of the party, even if you're not at a party! It's this lust for life that keeps him going harder and harder each year. Oh and if you need a good healthy recipe, he's one heck of a chef too!.
